Updating and so much more.

I know I slacked again! It's terrible. I'm really working on trying to organize my time better. I've never been very good at this task.

I previously mentioned I was joining Weight Watchers and I did last Thursday. I will admit the first few days were terrible poor John had to put up with me. It is much easier now. I haven't had a weigh in yet but I'm crossing my fingers it will be good! It doesn't seem it should be such a hard thing, it's just food after all, but when you make yourself aware of what your about to eat it really changes how you eat. Of course how I eat now is better for me than the path I was taking! So the journey begins.

The weekend was low key. I updated the earrings page on TDT Designs, hopefully later in the week I will do another update. So boring but that about rounds out my weekend.

Today I went to a pet supply store with Rebbecca and got my Sophie some treats and shampoo and then we went to lunch. Poor Sophie has had a traumatic experience last night that left her sleeping on my bed all night (she has a bed of her own at the end of our bed). I'm not even sure what happened I was in bed reading my kindle and she jumped in her bed barked loudly and then jumped on my bed shaking (a ghost? ha) and then proceeded to stay there all night...

This was her this morning when I was getting ready. Poor pup. 

Tomorrow I am babysitting my nieces Lily and Mina again and then back home to do more work! I need to get jewelry made so I can break out my sewing machine and start experimenting but before I do that I'd really like the website fully updated - then at that point start a new project. Speaking of website I'm looking to change the layout, if I could ever figure it out ha. Another project I have coming up is an online Indie business class. I'm quite excited for this class I really think it will help me get a jump start on my business. I know I've had TDT since 2002 but just recently I've decided I really want to make it my life's work so now it's time to get serious and not just the holiday parties I've been doing all these years. I'm ready. Finally.

New Earrings!

Being productive

Great weekend - ready for a new week!

My neice Trinity's 5th birthday party was Saturday. It was supposed to be at a park but the weather had other plans, it rained and rained. The party was timed to start at 11:00 so at 9:00 am I called my sister and said we were moving it to my house, we then called everyone to let them know it was moved. It ended up being a great party despite the rain! All the kids had a good time out back when it wasn't raining. I think I counted 12 kids - I'm not sure I've ever had that many kids here before! This week will be busy and hopefully I will get new pieces made. I ordered my sewing machine which I am very excited to get, it should be in early next week. I had my first sale on my etsy store yesterday thanks to my friend Katie's mom - thank you Kristi! Wednesday I will get a much needed haircut and Thursday *drum roll please* I will be joining Weight Watchers - smaller Teresa here I come! So see exciting and busy week!

Thursday already?

Tuesday I went to the Arabian Horse Show with my neice Trinity and my friend Amiee (who is also Trin's g-ma) and I remembered to take pictures! I'm getting better people!

It was a great day all around!

Yesterday morning I woke disgusted with my office. I don't know why but decided I needed to change it somehow even if it was a small change. I cleaned out the closet and put my bookshelves in it and then moved my work/jewelry table against the wall instead of in the middle of the room where it has been all these years. I have a shelf that had trinkets and what not from people and I carefully packed them away to use the shelf for jewelry. It is now open and I can now easily get in all the drawers on my jewelry shelves and also have access to my closet. I always had to move the table to get in the closet or the glass shelves (you can see the top of the glass shelves in below picture.) Anyway I'm pleased with the results and can now start being creative in this new environment. I will take pictures when it is completely clean. Right now it's about 90% clean lol.

Today I will be working on Trinity's birthday presents. I bought her clothes for her birthday so I'm going to make jewelry and hair accessories to match. Her party is Saturday but she will turn 5 next Tuesday. 5 already! Also I will be meeting my sister this afternoon to buy the food etc. for Trinity's party.

Monday, Monday

Today I went to the Arabian Horse show with my very dear friend Rebbecca and her daughters Leilani and Ashley. It was a great day a bit warm though I felt quite sunned by the time we left. I was excited to find a star scarf at the Hat Lady (I love stars! I have 4 star tattoos) the one I got is black with cream stars but I'm thinking I might get another tomorrow - there are other colors hmm...

So yes I will be going to the show tomorrow as well. Tomorrow I will be taking my neice Trinity and my friend Amiee (Trin's g-ma). Hopefully I don't get so sunned. I think I will wear a hat, I do think I look silly in hats but it helps! Maybe I will get pictures tomorrow. I slacked today. Must remember pictures!

Busy week - time to catch up...

It was a busy week last week, I didn‘t take the time to blog but hope to not do that again for such a long stretch! My mom-in-law Barb came in Sunday so we were busy, busy running errands and such. She sells southwestern jewelry (she is Trader Barb’s on my website) this time of year is the Scottsdale Arabian Horse show she has a booth there. 

 

Wednesday was the day jewelry gets set so I went to help Annie, Barb and Aunt Patty

Friday Jeremy and I went to the Arabian Show most of the day then just spent the evening being lazzzzzzzzy watching movies.

 

Saturday night I went to dinner with my dad and stepsister Emily who was in town for a few days. Was a great visit!

 

 My darling husband had 5 shows this week so I didn't get to see him much. It's that time of year! I miss him when he is busy but grateful for the business/shows. He owns his own company Creative Backstage as well. Now he just needs to get better before his next round of shows this week (keep reading).

And today Sunday on this Valentine’s Day also the 20th Anniversary with my husband I sit here watching my husband suffer with sickness. Mind you I am not sitting near him while he suffers lol. I am at the other end of the couch - I do not want to get sick!

I’d like to state that today is not our wedding anniversary that is May 3rd and it will be 13 years, but since there are more than 7 years in-between the dates we celebrate both. So it is crazy to believe we have been together 20 years. Mind you I was 16 when we moved in together, and since I’m 36 then yes it has been 20 years lol. Just doesn’t seem so sometimes. It’s been a great 20 years and I can’t wait for 20 more!

Well for the most part that rounds out my week. I hope the husband feels better when he wakes. We were going to take a day trip to Prescott, that's where this love fest began many years ago, but not with him being sick. There’s always another time or next year!
