What a better way to start up a blog again than a rainy Tuesday afternoon.

Hello!

I know, I know where have I been? Well I've been here, I just put the blog away for awhile. I follow quite a few blogs though and they have all inspired me to start this up again.

I wouldn't even know how to catch up on the past 6-ish months except to say that Weight Watchers is going well. I've lost 42 lbs. to date and am about half way there. I think it will be next March by the time I hit goal. Hopefully no later lol.

This is pre - Weight Watchers...

This is pretty much now. I think this was a few weeks ago.

I had my first jewelry party of the season this past Saturday. It went pretty well, now if I can just have a few more of those before Christmas I'd be excited. I'm currently taking a break from taking pictures of all the jewelry for the websites. There will be a huge update on the sites in the next week or so, it just takes some time to do updates.

John's season has started so he is busy. Creative Backstage has been and is doing some pretty cool shows. I'm so happy for the hubs. They will be doing Ke$ha in Flagstaff this coming weekend and a few weekends ago they did Train - that was a great show! Busy season can be trying on the emotions sometimes being alone so much but I have TDT and am thrilled to start using my sewing machine.

I mentioned oh 6 months ago about my sewing machine and have yet to start anything but once I get the sites updated and get the custom orders done from the show then I will be starting Christmas presents. Simple stuff at first of course I need to get used to the sewing machine. I have about 12 little girls on my list so they will all be getting elastic waist skirts! I went looking at fabric yesterday - oh my! there are so many great prints to choose from! It's going to be hard but good thing there are birthday throughout the year as well!

I think this is a good update for now. I will do my best to keep this going this time, however there are spans of time where my life just isn't interesting lol so I just might not have anything to type about. I'll do my best to keep it interesting though!

It's been awhile.

I will be back in full swing soon. I'm currently sick and when I get sick it's no good due to Asthma. I'm heading to the doctor tomorrow so hopefully very soon I will be up and about. Just wanted to say I'm still here!

Updates

I've been busy this week updating and babysitting and being out of the house. Yesterday I met Chelsea Handler she had a book singing for her new book.

It was a mad house but we got in and out in 17 minutes not too bad lol. JZ my super tall Chuey (Chuey is Chelsea's sidekick as JZ is mine!) took a picture. She looked great in her orange shirt!

Then I had my second Weight Watchers weigh in. I lost 3.4 lbs which I was impressed with considering the amount of times I went out to eat last week. Total weight loss thus far is 5.8 lbs. My Rebbecca had her first weigh in - 4.4 lbs! Goooooooo us! 

Great news about my husband, his company was up for 2 awards at an awards show he has participated in for 5 years and this year he won! The award was for Technical Company of the Year. I was so very excited for him and wished I would have been in Vegas with him to celebrate. He is doing the Ostrich Festival this weekend so we have not had a chance to celebrate. Maybe next week!

I also made a TDT Designs Facebook page. It is also helping me update Teresa's Desert Treasures so updates all around! I'm excited to say that Teresa's Desert Treasures will be getting a much needed face lift soon. Not too much will change but it will be nice to have a change.

Throughout the week last week I also saw 3 movies - The Crazies, Valentine's Day and Alice in Wonderland. I liked them all, except I wish I wouldn't have eaten a bad meal before Alice in Wonderland cause it was hard for me to keep my eyes open lol, so I enjoyed it but maybe not as much as I could have. Valentine's Day was a typical chick flick I liked it. The Crazies was good too, I like Timothy Olyphant!

It's Friday night and I'm thinking of jewelry designs. Not sure I will jump into anything tonight but will have more items soon. In the mean time I will leave you with some new jewelry pictures...

Great end of week

The end of the week ended up being great. Thursday I had my Weight Watchers weigh in as I previously mentioned I was hoping I would have good news since I told you all I had weigh in lol. Well for my first weigh in I lost 2.4 lbs. I was ecstatic! Especially considering I spent most of the week sitting in this chair working on websites and jewelry. Also my friend Rebbecca joined this week with me, Im so happy to have someone else do this with me to hopefully keep each other going!

Friday I spent the a.m. with my sister Julie and niece Trinity. We went to lunch and did some shopping. Then we came back and hung out here for a bit. Then Friday night John, Jeremy, Lina and I went to First Friday. Creative Backstage (husband's company) was featuring Pixel Paint so we went to check that out. This is the Pixel Paint...

After we left First Friday we went to Olive Garden and that rounded out my week. Today I hope to either clean or get jewelry done. Maybe a little bit of both! John just left for Vegas until Wednesday. He will be doing an award show and he is up for 2 nominations, hopefully this year he will win one! *Fingers crossed* I will miss him terribly as always but it will also give me more time to work.  Have a great weekend all! Custom order

I love, love, love custom orders. I only get slight anxiety when I'm creating something and hoping it is everything they had in mind. Today was a hit! My beautiful friend Janae had me make a name bracelet with her son's name and his birthstone. She isn't super fond of Garnet so I just worked it in a little and the rest is sterling silver. I think it turned out great! I did redo it and put a magnetic clasp on it which I am using more for bracelets, they are so much easier to work than the traditional claps or even the toggle clasps. So here it is...

I also wanted to take a moment to say how proud I am of my nephew Austin. 2 tennis matches in a row in 2 days and he won both 8-0. I'm hoping to make his next home game March 25th. Here he is playing...

 

Tomorrow morning is my first weigh in for Weight Watchers and I hope it's good news since I just told you I have a weigh in ha! I'm pretty sure the scale will be down AT LEAST a pound. Better be!

Bracelet

The other day I worked on a necklace and I decided to call it Owlien. Now mind you I don't usually name my pieces but this one needed a name. Alien or owl? You decide?

I do have a custom order I will  get done tomorrow for my great friend Janae, it will be a name bracelet with her son's name and his birthstone color in Swarovski Crystals.
