Oh Poor Me

I hate to complain but…

I truly despise my back sometimes.

I previously mentioned my bad back and well one adjustment did not work, I went back to the chiropractor today. I tend to be a BIG BABY when my back acts up, which frankly is understandable. The poor husband came home to me crying today. I’m just upset because I’m telling you hell or high water I will be going to the Tucson gem show Friday. I told my sister if I have to rent a wheelchair and she has to push me we are going! I know though I will be fine by Friday. I’m feeling better tonight so just have to keep on the mend.

Nothing big happened today just the chiropractor then I laid around feeling sorry for myself ha. No projects done today but they are stacking up in my mind so after I baby-sit tomorrow hopefully I can get something done! And hopefully my back is perfect tomorrow! Here’s wishin!

Jewelry

I realized I have said in my About Me that I wanted this to be mainly for my jewelry and my personal life will creep in and thus far it has mostly been about my personal life. Well I just wanted to assure you that after I get back from Tucson Gem Show next Friday the 5th I will have much (*crossing fingers*) to post about in the way of jewelry! I can't wait to show you all the great items I find!

Xander's 1st Birthday!

I had a great time today at the birthday party! I terribly miss my friends on the west-north side, I often wish we lived closer. I think the worst is leaving them or them leaving me it saddens me a bit not to know when I will see them again.

Almost February

It seems January flew by. I can hardly believe that it's almost February.

Well as my family and friends know I have a bad back. My L-5 is twisted and I have sciatica nerve problems, sometimes it's to the point of not walking. It seems about once a month this occurs and it has been coming on all week. I went to the chiro today so am hoping to wake all better tomorrow. Sometimes one adjustment works and well other times it might take 5. I REALLY want to go to Tucson next Friday the 5th for the gem show so I MUST get better before then. So good wishes people, good wishes!

Xan's birthday party tomorrow! Should be a great time seeing everyone again!

New Necklace

I made a simple goal for this morning, to make a necklace and I accomplished that goal. I think that is how I need to approach things - one task at a time not a million, then I just get overwhelmed.

This is a Wood Pendant (sadly no I am not talented enough to have painted it) with Red Jasper beads and Black Onyx beads. The pendant is a LARGE pendant, so if you like big you'll love this necklace!

This afternoon I must go buy a present for my dear friends baby Xan's 1st birthday, I am excited to see all of my westsiders on Saturday.

However if I have time I will make another jewel today!

Spilled Coffee

I had planned on making a necklace to post tonight but instead spilled a cup of coffee on me, my desk and the floor. I decided to walk away for a bit.

1 Dog and 1 Stray Cat = Love Affair

Every morning when I take Sophie out I have to battle a stray cat. If I don't intervene Sophie would never get to relieve herself. This stray cat isn't so very afraid of me, I have to get pretty close before he/she will leave Sophie alone. Here are a few pictures from this mornings meeting..

Next Friday the 5th I will be going to the Tucson Gem and Mineral show. 

I am quite excited! I have been a few years and last year I didn't have any idea what I wanted and it was an unsuccessful trip but this year I am going through my bins

 

to see what I will need to get. Definitely pendants and I think I'd like more freshwater pearls. By the end of Feb. I should have some great new jewelry made to have on my websites. 

Well it's time to start the day. We have a few sprinkles and thunder out there today, but I don't think it will be anything like last week!
